On 16 Oct, in Group B, Sydney Sixers (SS) take on Yorkshire (YRK) in match 6. Both are strong teams well versed in t20 format of the game.
Analysis
SS- High morale after win over CSK.Watson is in form but, might fail due to law of averages. Henrique also will not score. Lumb and McCullum will score. S Smith will shine again after few matches. Starc and Henriques can be relied upon for wickets. Cummins will sparrkle. No genuine spinners. Fielding is excellent. Appears that the team may faulter while chasing a huge score.
YRK- No real big names but, a strong young county team. Gale, Miller, Root, Jaques are very strong and can score quick runs. No established all rounders in team. A Rashid (20 yrs) and A Rafiq (21 yrs) will be bowlers to watch out for besides, Sidebottom, Pattenson and Wardiaw.
Comparison- SS are well knit with hard hitting batsmen. Their middle order appears shaky and spin department is weak. Yorkshire are a bubbling side with taleted young batsmen and real quickies. High scoring match on the cards.Close finish. It will be bowling of YRK vs batting of SS.
Likely Winner- YRK
